i am seeing heavy waitlist in some south bound trains starting from EGMORE both in GNWL and PQWL (like 100 or more) till the day of departure. But after chart prepation it shows some availablity (not all days but some days). how is this possible
PQWL waitlist system works in a different way all together ..WL is shared between different stations and depending on quota it might happen some quota is left after charting even though the PQWL before charting may have been more than 100..this availability will only be for a particular station while availbaility for another station for the same train may not be ..
