nowadays there is rumor of rajdhani to nhln .
i think there were many rumors in past also like 3rd mumbai rajdhani , 3rd kolkata rajdhani, new rajdhani to newly formed seemandhra, new rajdhani to rajasthan , pune , goa... these rumors just come and go and have no base.

But actually Mumbai got a similar train LTT NZM AC exp. And Arunachal Rajdhani seems to be possible due to latest addition of this place on IR map and a major tourist destination in North East.
i dont know how people arrived DIRECTLY at rajdhani

Fully agree with u, they should have first considered a 20-24 coacher SF/Exp with 7-8 AC bogies first and then they should have gone for premium trains like Rajdhani exp.
Regarding 3rd Rajdhani to Mumbai was confirmed news. Also published in TOI & other local newspaper. But later that plan was shelved.
