CiceroKosaksi~ 1358 blog postsWhat kind of TT is this??!! This train being an express takes more than 2.30 minutes to cross 53 Km and that too in PDKT - TPJ stretch ! The MPS (24 km/hr) is lower than the DMUs plying on that route. Even Boat Mail which is running 45 minutes behind it, overtakes it. This is total nonsense. Why are they torturing passengers with such an absurd TT?

no from CAPE TT should be changed...It is very early departure from CAPE.
But I think its ok. Because it's the only train in the afternoon from CAPE. That may be the reason for this TT. Anyhow, MPS should be increased for god sake!!
MPS must be increased in MNM-TPJ line....Just look into all the trains from MNM to TPJ.The avg speed is only 45-48 only.
RMM-CBE Weekly exp avg speed from MNM to TPJ is 39km/hr!!!!!!!!!!!
Because of speed restriction all trains from RMM towards TPJ is very slow in MNM-TPJ line....

Yeah! Complete MNM- TPJ line is neglected every time. It is given the least priority even though it has great potential. Is there any specific reason for this kind of MPS? Can you tell me how do IR decide the MPS on a section? Is it based on the Traffic or is it based on the condition of the tracks? I know sometimes LPs are cautioned for any works that are going on and MPS will be fixed accordingly. But how do they do it in general?
KKDI PDKT TPJ line PAllavan runs in good speed. it made late in stoppings only..
