Your suggestion seems good, but if implemented, will assume a colour of auction like the 3g spectrum scam. And seat availability/nonavaillability is depending upon Coaches and Rush season and not that Govt making the reservation a 'business' through auction.
Real problem is with the availability of More berths/more coaches/more trains.
Auctioning away does not solve the problem.
If water is scarce, do you think making it costly will help generate more water. Unless supply is increased , there will be always scarcity due to high demand.

we will have some quita as we have in tatkal and all reservation work will be dun through internet only.there would be no manuale work for this service.in this every one will get benifit people brokers and railway.
