Badly TPTY needs Shathabdi train to Chennai it wil use in two ways
1)Useful for chennai pax to take darshan
2)Useful for TPTY pax to reach Chennai faster as our main concentrated city is CHENNAI ONLY
I really dont know about if GNT/BZA/VSKP became capital will rayalaseema pax go to der or not for works

A Shatabdi was announced in 1999 if i am right between MAS-TPTY but didn't hit tracks...
in NTW , all the seating seats are filled. Many people occupy even reserved compartments , at Mysore its overflowing. An overnight train express from Mysore to TPTY or BZA will be a great one.
its was MYS RU . RSA with sharavathi. the patronage was very poor so it was cancelled. The same rake was used as a special between MAS to MYS
Any Train from TPTY-MAS will run with packed. A Memu introduced from MAS to tpty but i heard it is permantely cancelled due to operational related issues
