pe.72 4 blog postsI'm travelling by 16331, Thane to KRpuram today in 2AC. The AC is defective and all are sweating inside. Its like going by non- AC after paying premium.

Complain to the Coach attendant & TTE...If not sorted out please SMS your PNR/Berth No./Coach No./Train No. to 8121281212 to register complaint. This number is a official IR number for sorting out such issues. It shall be addressed at the earliest.

(b)In case of AC failure of AC2/AC3 class- Difference of fare between AC2/AC3 class and Sleeper Class will be refunded for the distance AC not worked. Certificate from the TTE (in original) for the AC not worked is must to claim for refund.

If issue isn't sorted out you can claim refund,you need to go thru this procedure. You need get a Certificate from TTE regarding the AC Failure and that can be produced to get refund. if its a E-ticket refer below.
