Some of the malayalam news channels had the news. It was said that he said he would definitely have a look at the demands of kerala for a different zone. He has just joined so let us give him some time.
Just a thought :- A new railway zone for kerala and Dakshin Karnataka with HQ in Mangalore (which incidentally is his home town) can be a good option!!!.....Dont think that would be possible though considering the fact that a high power committee in railways has advised the rail ministry against forming any more new zones.
