after an awesome evening with rail fans at bangalore, now reached jollarpettai to board thiruvananthapuram guwahati express. booked it from palakkad to new jalpaiguri to avail general quota although I ll go upto new farakka. amazing scenes of a busy station at odd hours. half sleepy faces and wrinkles on those faces increase when there is an announcement at public addressal speakers. as soon as announcements end, d calm on sleeping faces are restored !!

nope. its not worth travelling in sleepers. but ac is fine

reached home safe. my 2.5hrs journey in mldt sbg passenger got delayed by an hour but my 39hrs journey in tvc ghy was hardly 20 min delayed. ac failure was also handled well as no delays but was corrected on running train by train staff...
This Journey seems to have thrown up a real pleasant surprise to you BG & guess would like to remember for sometime...Quiet contrast to your travel in Coro :-)
It was great to hear from that you reached your home safely & many thanks to 12515 & all controllers who made the train running right on time... A small demand from railfans, now plan a trip to Kolkata... :)
Good to hear that. There was a time when this train had the distinction of being one of the worst in terms of its punctuality. Most of the time on an average it was delayed abt at least 5-10 hours. Good to see the change.
