MANGALORE: Passengers of the Yeshwantpur - Karwar Express had a harrowing time at Mangalore Central and Junction railway stations on Wednesday. They were stranded as the train was delayed for nearly four hours.
The train had entered the Mangalore Central station around 8.30 am and remained stationed there for two hours, and thereafter at Mangalore Junction for another two hours. The train left around 1.35pm.

Two families who had their wards' admission at Manipal University left by taxi with no proper reply coming from the station authorities. When the enraged passengers gheraoed the station master he said that Konkan Railway had not cleared the route and hence the delay.
