Review of LHB sleeper coaches
1. Very recent class , seen in very few trains which are sampoorna kranti , indb ypr exp , poorva exp , mahabodhi exp , purshottam exp , and now bgkt bsp exp.
2. The coaches are very light weight and they offer increased safety . The speed depends on clearance and priority so its mostly 110-115 depending on the tracks.

The windows are different , grills are closer so they obstruct view somewhat compared to icf,.
4. charging points in each bay even side lower berths so no need to worry about socket.
5. coaches are light so noise is little more and different. it is annoying in start because we are used to noise of icf coach.
6. two Indian and two western toilets in each coach. Cleanliness of toilet depnds on PASSENGERS only. The toilets are controlled discharge type so if anyone throw garbage then they will get choked , same for washbasins.
7. berths are wide . side berths are longer. comfort level is more.
8. No jerks in coaches. The jerks were in earlier coach , these are improved couplers so jerk free ( I didnt feel jerk at 115 kmph which was max)
9. lighting system ambient and decent, led berth indicators are there , reading lamps may be there in some versions.

overall I wanna say that IR has spent lot of money to enhance safety. Pax must try to keep the coaches clean. The technology is very very good and secure. we can travel without stress now. Now the responsibility is ours to maintain standard.
