Hey railfans ! I have few tickets in the month of july which i booked before the fare Hike and I heard that in this case also we have to pay the outstanding amount to railway. How should i pay ? Is there any special ways for E tickets ?
Some special counters are also running on big stations for the same.
At the day of Journey just check your PNR status where the exact amount to be payed will be displayed. Or else the same will be pasted on reservation chart beside your name. This excess fare will be collected by the on duty TTE. Do not forget to take the receipt of the same
Will that excess fare will arise on chart preparation only ?? Thankyou railfans !!
tte will collect it from you dont worry about that ...the chart that gets prepared will have the outstanding amount mentioned on it against your name ...
