Can anyone tell me what a GD1 coach is? What is the configuration of berths? I have a Berth no. 2 in GD1. Is it half a Generator van coach?
GD1 is coach for physically handicapped and disabled persons. it is present with every train in india.
Thank you dear sir, can you tell me the coach composition please? How many berths does this coach have?
Gen van coach. similar like normal GR coach. Only 2 cabins(close to 18 berths I guess)
Further to my query, I travelled in GD1 last night and it was very spacious, to my surprise. Only 4 berths, arranged in a coupe style; 2 LBs and 2 UBs. All other passengers commented that these are the best seats in GR.
