Seriously!!!! How thick of a person you must be to turn oblivious at a unmanned level crossing with little kids at the back. They say 'Roads' are far more dangerous than traveling in a 'Flight' and then i see accidents like these and think........a majority of the accidents are so easily avoidable by showing a bit of intelligence.......lets not even call it intelligence.........a bit of common sense. How hard is it for a person to slow down his/her vehicle at a level crossing???? A very tragic and totally totally avoidable accident.

Few of care taking points to avoid road- rail accidents.
1. Avoid unmanned level crossings, where the buildings/ flyovers/ controling rooms obstructs the vew left and right up to 1 km.
2. Regular maintanence on cutting of densed trees/ bushes, this should be maintained by nearest public and regular inspection by IR inspection car.
3.Automatic hoarn awerness system, which should start atleast

train is at a distance of min few KMs ( as per train's speed). Additional bulk amount of red lighting dipper at night times.
4. Road finishing on track must be same level to the road , to provide smooth sliding to the vehicle. One side ( eitheir forward or back) slope on the road can helps to slide the vehicle even in engine failed condition.
5. Assigning of specific trained approved drivers for school vehicles.
6. Strctly maintening of bus cleener, who can keep observations properly. Cleener should getdown at railway track and guide/ instruct the driver with extra care.
7. All trains including goods ( all coaches) need multiple radium strips sticked with proper illumination in night times.
8. CC camera installation at all level crossings. Dynamic communication to the loco pilots to view the longest forward side paths.
9. Maintening of school vehicle color code ( yellow with white and red radium stckers).
#. Pair of ( with sufficient gap between left and right ways) narrow under ground pipe type bridges with tunneling technology ( tunnel and insert pipe ) may be the cheap and fast solution to avoid gates and level crossings.

the present railway minister must take responsibilty as he hails from Karnataka. He msu ensure that railway crossings are either manned or raodoverbridges are constructed.
