12739 VSKP GARIB RATH. Is this train same as Duronto? Train fare includes of meal charges?
No GR is different from Duronto..Fare of GR is bit less & no food charges aren't included in the ticket fare.You need to buy the food from vendors.
Also in case if you are thinking of VSKP-SC duronto food isn't served and charges for it is not included in ticket fare.
22203 Duronto (VSKP-SC). Your 2nd information help me more as I want to travel this Duronto during Durga Puja (Oct-2014). Actually we want a train with mealing facilities. I cann't decide which train is better for family tour (with mealing facilities)?
Both trains are good.For GR catering by Vendors is available on board from Vendors or else you can pick food from VSKP station itself..Soon from September onwards the Duronto timings are going to change shall depart from VSKP @ 8:15 PM and reach SC by 6:16 AM,so chances of food in that also could be available from vendors..Choose the one which suites your timings most. Guess Food shouldn't be a issue which can be picked from VSKP station also for both trains.
