Many Rail Fan's fav, has almost many admirers nationwide, and also a bit controversial subject too, but still it doesn't bother these criticisms n does it job as usual.
38 years and still known as the legendary speedster of the famous Madras - Bezawada - Nagpur - New Delhi line.
Started back in 76's, with unique distinguished livery, used to get a twin Diesels in its debut run until the entire section was electrified, and one of the earliest trains to get WAM-4 and WAP-1/4 series locomotive.

I do agree, its a good train. Even now it has less stops in its journey whereby not much disturbance once it leaves Delhi. Enjoyed the ride last year from NDLS to MAS. Kudoos to you TN Exp. Keep it up
Yup it is really amazing train. Travelled no of times. Even with wap4 of Rpm ./ed shed it maontaons time.
Sad i didnt noticed it otherwise there were a fair chance for me to take a ride to ndls in this which now gonna complete in Raj. Btw TN express happy birthday.
