This train should dedicatedly cater to the people of COOCBEHAR town.So this can be made to start from Coocbehar(cob) itself with revised timings to increase the patronage.

This will help people to have the service from Coochbear and reach NJP so that they can also avail other trains and also reach Siliguri city by evening after completing their days work.
From NJP,starting from 10.00 will allow passengers to continue their journey forward after deboarding from Darjeeling mail,padatik,specials and other long distance trains.After Kamrup there are no such trains to come upto Coochbear,Jalpaiguri,Alipurduar etc.
