Railway Finance Commissioner on Inspecting Rameswaram Railway Station and Pamban Bridge here on Tuesday 19-08-14 said that a new train service between Mumbai-Rameswaram via Mangalore would be introduced to connect the pilgrim places. The same decision would be taken to Board authorities to introduce Mumbai-Rameswaram Express via Mangalore.

POY-PGT is under Gauge conversion now which will give shortest connectivity to Konkan route and Ernakulam from Madurai and RMM

RMM-PGT Passenger (2 trains)
