Although the entire Howrah-Kharagpur route has now 3rd line, but there is no improvement in track condition i.e. speed of Duronto /Shatabdi, punctuality of trains especially which are towards Howrah and it is same for even Shatabdi also- no importance is given because it takes much time to reach Howrah. So much traffic in this route it is essential for the 4th line - no alternate route in between HWH-KGP stretch like HWH-BWN. Hope for a improvement in time table upcoming in September.
