I am not sure if this train has this facility but pretty sure it runs almost empty from SBC to MYS. So just a gen SF tkt would do. Have seen it once with less than 10% occupancy on one of those rare days when train was delayed by only 5 mins at SBC.
Don't worry about current booking just buy a UR SF Gen ticket pay difference fare to TTE onboard..You could well find lots of berths free to travel.
Buy a general SF ticket and board. Dont worry train runs empty and you will not find TTE also.
