would be really interesting to know what is the pax load destined for wadsa and nagbhir ...what i feel is that it wud be really really low and if it wud have been via NGP then it wud get electric loco and will be equally fast till gondia ..

It is really sad to see this reply....some things carry more importance than pax loads or number of passengers......plz visit the region between Gondia and Chanda fort....probably it is the most underdeveloped area in the country despite of being in the center of the country...if you do not run any trains through the region..how will the development start?
Nagpur has 250 trains passing through and you want 100 more.......let some development trickle to this naxal affected region..give us the chance to come up...only 3 express trains/week travel on this route as compared to 250 through Nagpur...Being from the region....I assure everyone that I frequently travel on these trains and it is not very easy to get reservation...may be not
...
as difficult as on busy routes.
I want to tell everyone that Gondia- Soundad-Wadsa-Nagbhir-Mul-Chandafort route passes through forests..and many many children who live 10-15 km away from this route have not seen the train in their lives.....if they see 6 passengers a day and 3 express trains per week..it will definitely inspire them to reach upto level to travel in AC coach of a express train!!!
I can say this as this has happened to me...I spent my childhood in a village on this route and I had a dream to travel in the AC2 tier coach or a aeroplane which I have definitely achieved!!!

sanjay sir what u have told is right. also when bpq-g is totally electrified u will see trains coming from south towards east are diverted via this route which will have following advantages:-
1.this will avoid trains to go via nagpur which lessens the burden in nagpur gondia sections a lot & distance also be decreased by fair amount.
2.also the freight trains will get diverted via this route.
