PS: It's about time that NLD Station is converted to a World Class Station apart from Gaya and Varanasi with proper direct train connections from many parts of India, especially Indian Metro Cities. No offense to anyone but I personally feel that invaders are runt minded people who are anti-peace :-)

Nalanda was hub for education in olden days . Now only ruins available of that glorious past .
This Yahoo News Item states that a modern university campus of Nalanda has been set up near the ruins as per Kalam Sir's vision and many students from foreign nations are interested to enroll into this institute for pursuing modern higher education in India.... Nalanda University in it's New Avtaar :-)

it will happen slowly, as the new Nalanda University grows, the whole area, facilities will get better. Regarding those barbaric invaders whom I rather call muggers were only interested in raiding and looting, and utilizing the money to build forts and palaces for themselves.
IR can boost Tourism in Bihar to invite Indian as well as Foreign Tourists (Especially from Japan) by linking Indian Entry Point Metro Cities with these Ancient Cities [Nalanda, Gaya and Sasaram] through various Superfast Train Services like:-
