the moment the ticket is confirmed,it can be stamped as confirmed.and it is the particular process.
and the moment it is cancelled by the ticket holder, what is the process?
If the ticket was firstly confirm and later cancelled then no need to change the stamp
stamping indicates final status of the ticket.. the moment its status becomes final (for example, a waitlisted or RAC ticket becomes confirmed), it can be stamped. If a ticket doesnt confirm before charting, then its status after charting becomes final status. It has nothing to do with travel date because the stamping is for the ticket reservation status, not the journey completion.
Ok. I was under impression that final means "final status" after chart preparation.
