MLY & GTL WDM3A twins.. were on a race on 17 SEPT 2014 ..as the JP_MYS exp which was hauled by GTL twins was running 1.5 hrs late and Karnataka Express with MLY twins was ahead of it... both ran in 10 minutes gap from PKD to SBC.
Infact both met at GBD for crossing with a freight train.. But then the king of SWR got the starter first from GBD.
Usually JP express runs ahead of Karntaka as per the schedule.. But then King is a King...

the pictures at YNK.. My mom got off from Karnataka first and as we started moving towards the exit,, JP express came in...to halt on Mainline as it doesn't have a scheduled halt at YNK...
Someone from SCR should tell me about the MLY leading loco.. It had flower garland remains on it... And was POHed.. was it involved in some inauguration...?
