GUDUR JUNCTION -
------------------------------
Gudur lies in the south coastal district of Nellore which is the H.Q.Lying on the very important stretch connecting Chennai with New Delhi and also Kolkata...it also serves as a major transit point for people either heading towards Tirupati and Bangalore or coming from that direction.Gets a lot of importance in Rail Terms when compared to Nellore which is densely populated whereas Gudur though sparsely populated gets it's due recognition on the Railway Map.
-------------------------------
...

Some of the snaps taken by me of Gudur are here forth.
-------------------------------
Pic 1 - A view of Gudur Jn. from the Northern side as we approach the station.Platform 2 & 3 can be seen along with the 'marshaling yard'.Looking South(Madras Side).
------------------------------
Pic 2 - Gudur Jn. Station Board between Platform 2 & 3 as the sun comes shining out from the east.
------------------------------
Pic 3 - A different view,now looking towards up North(Vijayawada Side)
------------------------------
Pic 4 - A shot that went horribly wrong, wanted to capture the Station Board and missed them both and ended up snaping something else.(Grinning)
------------------------------
Pic 5 - The crowds starting to build up as we move into the day.A much better image of the Station Board.
------------------------------
Pic 6 - The South Cabin at Gudur as we move out of Station.
------------------------------
Pic 7 - As mentioned an important transit point, the lines on the right are branching out towards TPTY/RU from the MAS - BZA main line. The huge pillars that you see are for the over bridge that was under construction back then.

Yes.If i am not wrong, the train made it's way out of Nellore after 0630 hrs or may be even beyond that.......it sure was late i can confirm that and your observation is precise, wait lemme check the metadata from the photograph, yeah the photographs were taken @ around 0730 hrs in the morning........so it was 1 and a half hour late (Grinning) and since the summer was just coming to an end the early morning daylight did help a bit with it's brightness.I can confirm after looking @ the metadata that the photographs were taken on 26/07/13.
