At regular fares it is a distinctly better option than the buses. At the premium fare which it started with during Ganpati festival, people rejected it completely. Good to see IR learnt it lesson quickly.
Yes it should be in next budget but the way CR and KR are working it looks like they dont want this rake.
Its surprise and wonder how all of a sudden there is no platform for JS at MAO? Karmali may be geographically center of GOA, near to Capital PANAJI and can become a terminal but MAO is Goas commercial capital and also a junction. Its like you can terminate all konkan trains at Panvel and people can take local trains for Mumbai. Its like you move a train terminal from Dadar to Kurla.

Forgot about Vasco Da Gama ?
The largest city of Goa which is not getting a train to Mumbai inspite of having good demand.
It has the only airport of Goa, a major port, Navy, many big businesses, etc it is as highly commercial as Madgaon but not getting much trains if MAO is Dadar than why not have VSG as CSTM of Goa.

As per KR, CR and SWR behavior VSG - CSTM will run only when verna is connected to Cansaulim. It is much needed but how many houses and temples/churches on the way?
Their behaviour is not good for public. Even without bypass we can have VSG CSTM train which has a rake reversal at Madgaon or even at Majorda.
