Pls provide a stop at salem junction

It should be a duronto inside Tamilnadu and in Kerala it should be a normal express train. I want to know the reason behind for salem stop. You People have 2695 daily Express in similar time. Why cant you take that train??? You wont even leave a single weekly train for us??
Punkunnam is not a Junction and the actual Junction at Thrissur is Thrissur City Railway Station.If it is a Junction,it must need at least 3 platforms.Thrissur Punkunnam has only 2 platforms,but Thrissur City has 3 platforms and it is the smallest junction in Kerala.Podanur is a Junction 6 kms.south west of Coimbatore and Arakkonam too is a Junction.Perambur is also a Junction situated just north of Chennai.
hello Mr. ANON.. Don't u think that Salem is HQ is IR or SR? All the stupid trains used to stop there.. but 2697/98 doesn't belong to that cat.
It's just the matter of 5 Hrs.It will only benefied to Season ticket holders.
More over in JPJ it has to allow 2608( MAS-Lalbgh) to overtake too.Stupid time table it is . It can easily reach MAS 11:50hrs before Lalbagh..But it's not happening.....
