jaipur has now a new platform named 2A for handling trains having load of 10-12 coaches , bikaner jaipur intercity departs from that platform

yes, was surprised to see additional platform today where platform 2 ends when i went to drop off a relative in 12956
i think it is mainly created to handle passenger trains from phulera side which terminate at jaipur so as to free up the main platforms.
