A train which has 24 bogies(rake) has no chance of attaching extra coachs.A coach added in any class will result in detaching another coach of different class in a rake of 24 bogies.

If extra coaches are attached detaching from 24 Coach regular rakes, how are the Special trains operated? By cancelling some regular services ?

Spl trains are operated by pooling up all sick/repaired/extra coaches available in loop lines in different zones by forming a rake of less than 24 coaches.
