Hi Friends.
Even though this may not be the right forum, I dont see any better forum to get my answer. I am planning to take a road trip in end Nov 2014 and in between I would be driving from Munnar to Alleppey. While google maps shows multiple routes, I am not sure which one to select. The shortest route seems to involve a lot of tricky roads. Can someone, who has taken the trip suggest the route from Munnar to Allepey?

Thodupuzha ,koothattukalam route will be better. Avoid the route via cochin as there will be too much of traffic.
Thanks a lot. This was route no 2. I had seen this route, but was scared of taking it as I would also be having my parents (age around 65). Hence was not sure if this is a good road to take.
However one question - Thodupuzha ,koothattukalam route - Does that road have any major problem? the second route you have given via muvattupuzha seems to be a detour as per the maps.
