sir if both the persons are under the same PNR and if one is confirmed then the other person can travel with the permission of the TTE and the co passnegers...
When a single PNR has two different status no need to worry all single PNR holders are entailed to board some coach and can adjust on their alloted berth with seat sharing arrangement. They deserve first priority to get full berth (if available en-route).
