Many people daily travels from BBS/CTC, KUR & PURI to BAM, IPM,SPT,PSA, NWP, CHE, VZM & VSKP and vicerversa. So ECoR had introduced an ICE (Train # 18411) from BBS to VSKP but it has as many as 25 halts between BBS & VSKP and in one way it can be called as passenger train rather than express train as it takes 8 hrs. The very purpose of introducing an ICE is becoming void as people who want to travel early from BBS to VSKP are taking Train # 18463 Prasanthi exp and if they miss it they have the weeklies Anga, Amaravati & HWH - PDY exp and no one is boarding the ICE as it is super slow. I guess, it will be tough to increase the speed with the stops it has. With a SF tag, 12839 Mail is taking 7:30 mins for 11 halts and this ICE takes 7hrs 55 mins for 25 halts with express tag. For 1st 166kms, itself it has 14 halts, after that for around 280 kms 11 halts. It still takes correct time for its halts i guess. 18463/64 started from VSKP in the beginning. Later it moved to BBS.
