Since then it has been serving the people of north bank of river brahmaputra in assam and the neighbouring arunachal pradesh.This rail stn bears it prestigious passenger list with the father of the nation Mahatma gandhi, The spiritual leader Dalai lama Acaharyya Binowa bhabea, and your honour before taking part in active politics. It is a part of Historical & social life of tezpur and its economy , So how we can forgot our Tezpur railway stn.
