When Cochin, Trivandrum, Alleppey, Calicut, Palghat, Cuddapah, Madras, Calcutta, Bombay (list can be more) were changed to their new names, they were not discussed to this level. Why such discussions on Karnataka cities' names? Mountain out of mole hill?
Yeah... We will refer to cities as old names only. Bangalore will always be bangalore. Mysore will always be Mysore for me atleast.
Good that u mentioned for you atleast. Things will not change the moment it is introduced. Will take time and localites will ensure (even if they oppose now) it is followed everywhere.
