Locopilot Suspended for skipping the signal. Quite strange that the explanation given by him was that he did not see the signal.
A locopilot of the Ernakulam-Bangalore Express, that started off from Ernakulam Junction Station, was suspended after he skipped a signal, near Edappally Railway Station at 5.30 pm, on Wednesday. Divisional railway manager Sunil Bajpai personally inspected the situation along with divisional safety officer. Owing to this the train was delayed for at least an hour.
