Stoppages should be region centric.Stoppages of Bidhannagar road,Dakhshineshwar,Guskara,Ahmedpur,Harischandrapur,Kumedpur doesnt have any meaning as such.Any analysis of regular patronage from these stations. There was a view that RB will gradually phase out the not so important stoppages but no news as such.
Yes other than Sainthia,MLDT,BWN all the stoppages must be withdrawn...as this us the official Mail train b/w SDAH NJP so only the RMS offices must have stoppage & rest of the stoppages must be withdrawn....There are many other trains to have stoppage in BHP,RPH,NFK,BOE,KNE
Was just checking the stoppages of innumerable trains from Howrah Sealdah to Rampurhat,Bolpur like Maa Tara,Shahid,Kaviguru,Intercities,Fast Passengers.even they dont have the stoppages at these stations. Why so trains like Uttarbanga,Gour,Kanchankanya be made to stop at these. They have the services of infamous Teesta Torsha, why they need to make these trains go the teesta torsha way.
Right after Kanchenjungha there are trains from SDAH/HWH towards BHP/RPH @ 7.25,9.05,10.10,11.00,11.55 either one of them.must be extended to NJP or sufficient infrastructure @ RPH must be proposed so that there can be a connecting train started from.RPH towards NJP.
Uttarbanga Exp and Kanchankanya should definitely get change in their stoppages and be speeded up with 24 coaches. Its been 10 yrs they have been providing services.Even they can have a HA,A,B AC Coaches attached with them with quotas from NBengal.ER Needs to look into this immediately as Gour also possess a HA being a premier train for Malda.Padatik Extension is also on cards and it is corrently running as Interccity special.Official extension will enable them to have reservations from NCB
