Why the name Executive? Executive Exp the official name of this train or popular name?
It is a popular name. (In official site it is Cannanore/Alleppy/Ernakulam Exp)
when the train started it had very few stops, currently it has so many stops that the popular name itself is at stake
Yes in mid 1980s when it started was running up to ERS only and in late 1990s extended to Allepy. Initially it had stops in the following stations only: TLY, CLT, TIR, SRR, TCR, AWY, ERN and ERS
