when was sirpur kaghaznagar(kothapetta) railway station constructed and start.when was it name changed to kaghaznagar.
Sirpur Kagaznagar railway station was started working at 1942. Formerly it was known as Kothapet Railway. It was constructed under the Nizam's Guaranteed State Railway. The first official appointed to this station was the Mr. Yogesh Chandra Bhattacharya, Station Master. The main aim to made this railway station to boost the commencement of Nizam's paper mill situated at this town. Later this town was renamed as Sirpur Kagaznagar by the G.D. Birla who re-owned the paper mill after the unification of Nizam's state into the India at 1948
