I have a few queries regarding travel by premium trains. Would be greatful if any member can answer some queries if possible.
What is the probably chances of cancellations happening or passenger not turning up in premium trains. Has anyone travelled by any such train seen vacant berths?
If it is a day journey between two stations and there is a premium train (eg Mangalore to Ernakulam or Madgaon to Mangalore etc) can passengers approach the TTE for seats for berths if available.Will the charge be more in such cases.

No Current Tickets are available for premium trains as unreserved tickets wont be available for this train...also TTEs are not supposed to allot berths in premium even if it is vacant . some stations issue premium trains current tickets in sleeper or other reserved coaches at the last booked prize and not on fixed prize of other normal trains
Cancellations in Premium train? No not at all. Ad there is no refund after cancelling. U cant board the premium tickets with general tickets.
