can I book(not E-ticket, windowticket) Tatkal ticket for my daughter from tirupati to jharsuguda, from my place ie jharsuguda? She cannot book the ticket. If I book how can I send ticket to her by scanning or fax?can she take duplicate ticket my quoting PNR?
Duplicate tickets can be issued only on Confirmed / RAC tickets before chart preparation . Your daughter can approach nearest computerized reservation office and mention to CRS that they have lost the ticket.it should be done before chart preparation..they have to quote the PNR for the same..charges will be 50 per passenger for sleeper and 100 per passenger for other high classes...pls approach the CRS not instantly after booking tickets . if the chart preparation is by 6 pm , then approach by 3 pm or 4 pm . stating that courier was not received or lost enroute or my dad planned to come but could not come due to other reasons...u have to show the mentioned id proof in the ticket to the CRS while asking duplicate ticket...
