1. Only one Express on daily basis

Yes Katni - Singrauli route has not covered with MEtro cities. It would be great if one weekly/Biweekly train to Mumbai-Howrah via this route start.
Its quite populated, colonies, coal & rock base!!
The terrain doesnt facilitate much & Wash-line issue may have been the reason behind less originating train, as bye-passing train takes much time to cross the terrain (ShaktiPunj Exp)!
Long back, have seen shaktinagar station. The Freight Yard Tracks were having concrete sleeper, while the main track was equipped with Wood/Iron Sleeper!
