With the Railway Minister Mr. Suresh Prabhu announcing that 12223/24 LTT-ERS Duronto will halt at Thane, now it is high time that all Durontos be converted to Super fast with the Technical Halts being made into commercial halts without any change in timings

RM said he is exploring the stoppage and has not given the official nod. Duronto's can't have commercial stoppages.
At the most he will declare Thane as Technical halt only for 12224.

Chances are very less...a pgportal reply said that the train attracts 75% occupancy and hence it would continue to run as a duronto
