Don't know why ECoR sends this train via such long route. Instead they should start a new train puri-okha exp via dhenkanal, titlagarh, raipur i.e on the route of puri-gimb superfast exp. And they should short terminate this 18401/02 at VSKP i.e it should be vskp-okha exp. By this the route length from puri to okha would reduce by nearly 750-770km and would save nearly 15hr of journey time. Also vskp would get a dedicated train to okha.

I think the major motive should be connect two dhams shri jagannath puri and dwaraka dham in least time. But here this train is doing so long route, nearly 800km excess. I m not saying for two trains. This train can be terminated at vskp, after all vskp is also in ECoR.. And start a new train puri-okha exp via raipur-nagpur.
