MumbaiExpress 92 blog postsI believe that the timings and terminals of 12219 LTT - SC duronto and 12701 Hussain Sagar Exp should be swapped.
Adv :
1) The duronto would start from CSTM so it would get high patronage.

As of now the timings for RSA management are just about right...May be once the entire stretch becomes FEDL can expect some changes in TT which may be more favourable. Also chances of changing terminals of daily trains for sake of non-daily ones is not advised.
Currently due to RSA of Hussainsagar with 17031/32 it is impossible to change the terminal from CST to LTT. The timings according to RSA is perfect. It doesn't needs any change. Yes this Duranto is of no use because of its timings. Maybe post Pune-Wadi electrification its timings can be changed a bit.
Even now the Duronto is a pretty good performer...Also from SC many Pune bound use it as connection. Can't say its of now use but pretty useful for late night public/after office.Since for catching Hussain sagar could well have to leave bit early from office. The FEDL of the entire stretch could cut down the run time of Duronto & other trains to make them more convenient.
Yes. It's a good train for SC-Pune Passengers. But I don't find it much useful for SC-Mumbai Passengers because it reaches LTT in late morning thus wasting a whole day for office goers(My personal Opinion). I feel little early arrival at LTT would be good
Guess as of now its not possible many morning arrivals are also there now...It needs to seen if they allow any new train in to that early morning arr slot for which chances look very bleak.
