SunilKulkarni~ 2006 blog postsSWR please increase quota for Basava express for Gulbarga and I wonder there is not even single berth allocated in tatkal for Gulbarga Yagdir solapur and people pay more and book tatkal from Hotgi and change boarding... Also if possible please terminate this train at Gulbarga and Bangalore...

currently for 22133/4 SUR and GR share same quota... And And Bidar trains do not enter Gulbarga... Better terminate 17307/8 at GR and BJP can start new train via route you mentioned.
Better you get NED-SBC diverted via GR, once new line is laid. This train can be speeded up by atleast 1 to 1-1/2 hours bet SBC-GR. Then Basava can go to its destination in shorter route. You do not lose anything - loss of Basava gets compensated with NED exp. BJP gets the benefit of shorter route.
Yes that can also be tried but NED-SBC but Basava can be made superhit if it starts from GR or provide good quota for GR... NED-SBC via GR will enable connectivity to NED from GR also
Basava termination will be super hit for you, but big hit for BJP.
By asking NED-SBC via GR, you get double benefit -- train from/ to SBC, as well as a train from/ to BIDR/ NED. Based on response, some more trains can go via GR, BIDR towards Delhi or other north Indian towns.

You? I also travel from BJP ... Bidr-GR line takes another 3 years... A new train from BJP via GDG can be started easily and 17307 can rest in GR with pit line opening soon GR can maintain this train easily....
