"Pt available" just means that "Premium Tatkal" is available on the train, which everyone knows (or can find out themselves). The blog on its face, does not mean anything significant. And so, yes posts of this nature are SPAM.

Regarding the new PT indicator feature:
Whenever anyone checks availability against the Premium Tatkal quota, and if the quota is available, the indicator (PT) will get auto-updated.
If ALL trains will eventually get PT, then this indicator will be of little use, and may get removed.

Furthermore, regarding PT, you may provide further suggestions as to what other info you will find useful - for example, the range of dynamic fares that passengers actually ended up paying for travelling in this train, etc.
