First, well done, great job, I had a similar idea a few years ago and have a few suggestions for you to consider, though my idea was for a commercial website aimed at foreign tourists, and I realise that this website is aimed at rail enthusiasts.
When we pass over a rail line a 'balloon' pops up, can you insert a link into that balloon that takes us direct to the trains that run along that route?

you also have a balloon pop up when we pass over a town/city, and in this balloon you could have a link to departures and arrivals for that city, you could also have a link that would prompt the user to add the name of another town/city, then automatically link to the trains that run between the city on the map and the town manually added?
I notice that some lines have no info (and aren't highlighted), these lines are being converted from MG to BG, but for those that don't know this, they may think there are no lines in that area, is this problem being addressed?
