A train was announced between Bangalore-Trivandrum in the previous budget (i think it was supposed to have a Friday departure from Bangalore). Any updates on when the train will start service?
Recently heard news that all trains announced in previous budget will become operational prior to the budget on February 26.

that was premium train and i think premiums will run if demand is there.
Need not be.. Already 4 premiums are running from Bangalore and 2 of them are empty.
a sbc TVC train has decent demand, hence may be it will run as premium only.
