The Tiruchi Railway Division has introduced On Board Housekeeping Services (OBHS) in two long distance trains from Tiruchi Junction to keep passenger coaches tidy all through the journey.
The OBHS has been put in place in the Tiruchi-Howrah-Tiruchi (12664/63) and in the Chennai Mangalore-Chennai Express (18659/60) which are maintained by Tiruchi Division.

A team of janitors have been deployed on board both trains to ensure cleanliness of the reserved and air-conditioned compartments time-to-time, a senior railway officer told The Hindu . Five janitors each have been posted in both trains along with one supervisor to ensure cleanliness of the coaches.
