Bagmati SF Weekly Express, Pawan Express, Raxaul - Mumbai LTT Karmabhoomi Express (UnReserved) all these trains run with Itarsi shed locos.

so why twin locos ? Last time i traveled in Bagmati it was hauled by a single WDM 3A
there might be some technical reasons. Because Samastipur division or any other division under ECR does not have WDP 4 locos of its own so the long distance diesel route trains are hauled by twin locos.
