Can any member provide information on what is the distance between Chennai Egmore and Chennai central.?
Are they located within walking distance ?.

It is a temporary one. It's been there since last last year to help people cross the road as the subway has been demolished for Chennai Metro rail works.
Yes. It should be between 1-2 KMS from MS-MAS.
Distance from Chinthamani (Anna Nagar East) is 5.5 KMS to Egmore and 7 KMS to MAS.
As per MTC bus its 4th Stage from Chinthamani and from Egmore - PH Road exit, MAS is first stage for fare collection.
1 Stage is roughly 1-2 KMS.
